Card Grading Question

I have a large collection from when I was a kid. Most of the cards are from 1980-1988. Back in those days card grading was not an issue.

I'm trying to decide if I should get my collection graded and if so, by which company.

Which company is regarded as the best when it comes to grading cards? If I'm going to spend the money to have my cards graded I want to make sure that I choose the highest quality.

Thanks

PSA has a better resell value overall. SGC is great with Prewar cards and has set the standard in sells thus far for those issues. I would be careful to grade only those rookies, HOF'ers etc from the 80's cause grading fees get "hefty"............
