yoyo
my friend showed me this pitch called the yo-yo ball. when u bring your hand past your ear, the back of your hand is facing up and then u snap your
wrist down. when u do it right, and snap really hard, it drops off the table.

Yo-Yo curve
Ive just been waiting for someone to post about the yo-yo curve. My leftfielder invented that pitch 2 years ago while in warm-ups just screwing
around. It will drop off the table if you throw it hard but is extremely hard to control. It is a great ephus pitch if thrown slow. Because when its
thrown slow the ball will not accelerate in the horizontal direction due to the drag force created by air resistance, so the ball will have a constant
terminal velocity
(mass of ball)*(acceleration of ball)=(b_drag coefficint)(v_terminal velocity)^(n_another drag constant)
(v_velocity)=nth root of(mass * acceleration)/(b_drag constant)
Batters judge the ball by how fast it accelerates with the yo-yo curve and the knuckler the ball doesn't accelerate towards the plate so it is
hard to judge it .

nope...
A dallas Cowboy by the name of Stan Capers invented that pitch. Even though he was my baseball coach 5 years ago. He played football for the cowboys,
and played baseball in the minors. He invented that pitch a long time ago, its way more than 2 years old.

Yo-yo or no-no?
No one can say with any authority who invented this pitch. I fooled around with that kind of delivery, and I'm sure many more have, through the
years.
I'm sure the idea of a reverse spin has occured to pitchers since the beginning of baseball, especially since it's so close to a softball
release, only overhand.
I have to believe it would be a killer pitch but for three things: 1., It's impossible to control; 2., It's impossible to throw with any
velocity; 3., Your arm wouldn't last two minutes.
Nice concept... lousy execution.

i'm sure it could be controlled if you threw it a ton, only question would be whether or not your arm would get extremely sore in the process
just like anything else, it's not gonna be a consistent strike when you first start throwing it, i still had trouble controlling my circle
change and not having it fly over the batters head up till a few weeks ago when i raised my pinky on the side of the ball
