DONT EVER WORK OUT BEFORE A GAME!!!! That will shurely destroy your arm especially if you do bench presses with heavy weight. If you are going to work
out, work out two days before so you have a day of rest before the game. Benching or lifting before a game will throw out your arm if you pitch.

Curling 8 to 10 pounds sometimes makes me feel stronger when I throw(but haven't tried it in a game.)

Nolan Ryan
Nolan Ryan did a full body routine using mostly Nautilus Equipment and very light weight before he went out to the park. The two exercises that he
didn't do before he pitched was the bench press and barbell squat. He said it activated him and got his juices going. He was throwing mid
90's heat till he in his early mid 40's. It worked for him, so maybe he was onto something.
