Just got the book
A good 3 hours ago... already read 4 chapters. (between you and me id be done if my gf didnt feel I was neglecting her so much )
Well all I can say is its 11:12PM and I WANT TO THROW THE BALL WITH SOMEONE..
I havnt posted here in about 2 years , and I must say i've gained alot of experience since.
My major problem is I cannot aim the kball.. However I must admit I do watch my pitch and not my target... So thats why I really want to go outside
now and throw some. My girlfriend was nice enough to offer to catch, but between you and me, I dont think knuckleballs is a wise choice to throw her
considering she cant catch a beach ball (opps )
My second problem is I believe I dont think I throw her fast enough... I only throw my fastball in the high 70s, and 72 mph is something I dont think
I will ever able to reach with a knuckleball.
But im happy to say I can throw a floatter with 0 rotation almost everytime I wish..
Thank you Dave, for writing such an interesting book on a endangerd pitch.
And thank you for sparking, yet again, the love I have for this pitch.
I can surely guarentee it wont be another 2 years before I post here again, especially considering I actually remembered my password

Lol, Well man I've had your same problems before lol, I only throw 78mph, and like you said getting a knuckler up to the 65mph or even 70mph
mark is amazing. I can only throw mine 50-55mph. But, mine moves quite a bit, and I have found out that when I release the ball, mind you I use a 4
fingered 4 seam knuckleball grip when I release the ball if I release it more off of the inside part of my index finger tip following with each finger
I kill the spin honestly 8/10 times. Which isn't to bad. Good luck with throwing to that girl friend thing..lol..hope to see you post soon
man!!!

Well, that's what I meant by that, focus on releasing the ball off of the inside part of your index finger..it's helped me a lot, I
don't know how it works for other people, but it might be worth a try....who know's...I'm always open to anything..
