well................ scientists classify living organisms in to different categories like "plant" and "animal". well............ us baseball experts classify pitches into two seperate categories "non-breaking pitches" and "breaking pitches" (how ever i like to use the term breaking ball) change-up is considered to be a non-breaking pitch.

yeah, tough to confuse those two, considering a splitter is short for splitfingered fastball. most changeuos should definetly be slower than that. most changeups i've seen move a tiny bit, but they're generally just like a slow fastball, which is what it's supposed to be.

it completley depends on the way you throw each one.

I consider a changeup, a changeup.

Also I think it depends on the movement, you can't tell because normally people can throw one better than the other, I say whatever your good at.

To me a palm ball breaks more, but i dont really know how to throw a circle change the right way.

#1 . Do you people consider a change up just to be an offspeed fastball? because ive always considered a changeup to be a breaking pitch...atleast if its a good changeup.

#2. Which breaks more , a circle change up or a palm ball..because ive thrown both and i get more break on a palm ball.
